SEIKO Spring Drive Spacewalk development: the mission

We developed a watch that is both durable and usable during a spacewalk. The watch therefore must be safe, accurate, air-tight, light, large, easy to read and easy to use. In short it had to be a watch with perfect functionality in the extreme conditions of space.
