Credor Spring Drive Sonnerie was developed by SEIKO's Micro Artist Studio craftspeople.
It made a debut at Baselworld 2006 and has been drawing big attention throughout the world.
Only five pieces a year are being produced entirely by hand.
German photographer Ralf Baumgarten visited the Micro Artist Studio in Shiojiri City, Nagano Pref., Japan and focused his attention the studio's highly skilled craftspeople and the details of Credor Spring Drive Sonnerie.
Ralf's interests are to portray people. He has been taking the independent watchmakers for recent several years and has published several famous watchmakers' photo books as well as 'UhrMenschen 50 people, 50 watches, 50 portraits.' (some pictures are shown at link)
